Donaldson ASM Award
Dr Janet Donaldson, Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences, was presented The Charles C. Randall Lectureship Award at the 2011 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology, South Central Branch in early December.

The awardee, selected by a panel of senior faculty members appointed by the Branch President, must hold the rank of Assistant Professor (or equivalent) in a scientific institution (public or private) within the geographic boundary of the South Central Branch of the ASM, and must be in the early stages of a research career with less than five years of experience since completing training, but be independent of a mentor.
